UNIVERSAL LOVE . . . ATTAINING HIGHER CONSCIOUSNESS

. . .  AND THE MEANING OF LIFE

As I travelled on my annual tour of Intensives, talks, and seminars this year, I realised that many people really did not know what I was talking about when I spoke of universal Love. They were familiar with personal love, where you can get angry, or even abusive, with those you profess to care about or personally love, but the idea of a Love that transcends all the limits of our personality seemed hard to grasp.

Personal love can be expressed as strongly over a treasured possession or a desired new car as it can for a person! Personal love is an expression of the emotions and, as such, can be expressed in ways that are far removed from the true meaning of Love.  Universal Love is not an emotion, nor is it expressed through the emotions. Universal Love is conscious creation. Universal Love is unconditional; it is also true freedom. Universal Love far transcends the meaning and expression of personal love, coming from a higher state of consciousness.

This brings us to attaining that higher state of consciousness. Unfortunately it is not as simple as pressing a button, but it is as easy as we allow it to be. Our beliefs define and shape our experience of life; this indicates that by releasing beliefs that no longer support our inner Truth, we consequently move toward a state of higher consciousness. It is from this higher state of consciousness that we experience universal Love. Our relationship with Self is our relationship with life. Our expression of this quintessential relationship is the very foundation of consciousness, and as we live life on a daily basis we are either lowering or raising our own state of consciousness.

What is the meaning of life? This must be one of the most asked questions of every spiritual traveller. I could give you an answer in words, which intellectually would not mean very much at all, or I could show you the way to find the answer within your own consciousness. This, then, becomes very meaningful. One thing is certain; you chose the journey of life in which you are a participant, and the journey will not end until you have fully realised the meaning of life. For 'better or worse, richer or poorer,' you are involved in a spiritual marriage between you, expressing as soul, and your everyday life, expressing as spirit. This union cannot be broken nor aborted, so it is wise to learn the universal laws governing the meaning of life. In this way you can give your life real meaning!

We are living in times when 'Knowing Self as Love' has never had greater meaning or value. For a very long time we have stumbled along en-masse; it is now time for you to walk your own path with grace and certainty.  I invite you to join with me for a few days of teaching you how this is possible.
